A lot of gardens are the sum of separate decisions made years apart — a patio here, a shed there, a border that was once bigger. Landscaping is the chance to stop doing that and treat the space as a whole: where the sun actually falls, where you would sit, what you want screened, and how you get from one part to another.
We work at whatever scale suits. That might be defining borders with sleepers and getting the planting right, or it might be a full rebuild — levels changed, seating area built, screening put in, lawn relaid and a planting scheme established. Either way we start with what the garden is being asked to do, because a garden for a family with a dog and a garden for two people who want to eat outside are not the same brief.
We are honest about sequencing too. Hard landscaping first, planting after, and some things are better done in a particular season. Where a project is better split across two phases — or better waiting three months for the right planting window — we will tell you rather than doing it all now for the sake of one invoice.

We plan and build. For most domestic gardens that means working through the layout with you on site and agreeing a clear scope before we start. For very large or architecturally complex projects a dedicated garden designer is worth involving, and we are happy to build to someone else's drawings.
A typical domestic redesign runs one to three weeks depending on how much hard landscaping is involved. Level changes, retaining and large paved areas extend it. We give you a schedule with the quote, and weather can move it.
Yes, and it is often the sensible route. We stage projects so each phase finishes with the garden usable — structure and hard landscaping first, planting and finishing later, often in a better season.
