About our garden tidy-ups
A tidy-up is not maintenance and it is not a clearance. It is a reset: one visit, one price, aimed at making the garden look properly cared for by the end of the day. It is the job people book when something is about to happen — a valuation, a viewing, an inspection, a family party, or relatives arriving.
We prioritise ruthlessly on a tidy-up, because the things that make a garden read as neglected are not evenly weighted. Edges, weeds in hard surfaces and a well-defined lawn shape do far more visually than a perfect border. So that is where the time goes first.
It is also the job that most often pays for itself. Estate agents will tell you that outdoor space is one of the first things a buyer forms an opinion about, and a garden that looks unmanageable in photographs costs a great deal more than a day's tidy-up.

A tidy-up assumes the garden is fundamentally intact and needs bringing back up to standard — mow, edge, weed, prune, sweep. A clearance is for gardens that have gone past that, where growth has to be cut back and removed before anything can be maintained.
