Garden Clearance & Waste Removal

We arrive with the vehicle, the tools and the paperwork. Everything we cut leaves with us — to a licensed transfer station, not a lay-by.

What this is

About our garden clearance & waste removal

There are two halves to clearing a garden: cutting it, and getting rid of what you cut. The second half is where most people come unstuck. A single overgrown rear garden can produce more green waste than a year of brown-bin collections, and a garden waste subscription will not take a dismantled shed or a tonne of broken slabs.

We handle both halves as one job and one price. That includes the awkward things — a rotten shed that needs breaking down before it can be moved, decking that has to be lifted, hardcore left by a previous builder, or rubbish that has been fly-tipped over a back fence.

We are a licensed waste carrier, and everything leaves in our vehicle to a licensed transfer station where it is separated and processed properly. If you are a landlord, letting agent or managing a commercial site, we can provide waste transfer documentation for your records — which matters, because under UK duty-of-care rules the responsibility for waste does not simply vanish once someone has taken it away.

Garden Clearance & Waste Removal work in progress

What is included

  • Green waste, soil, turf and rubble removal
  • Sheds, decking, old fence panels and trellis broken down and taken away
  • Fly-tipped and dumped rubbish cleared
  • Old furniture, pots, planters and children's play equipment removed
  • Loading and carrying included — nothing needs moving to the front for us
  • Licensed disposal at a permitted transfer station
  • Waste transfer documentation supplied on request
  • Site swept and left tidy before we leave

Every job is quoted as a fixed price, and every price includes removing the waste.

Do you need this?

You probably need this if…

No sales pitch — just the situations that usually mean it is time to make the call.

  • You have cut the garden back yourself and now have a pile you cannot get rid of
  • There is a shed, greenhouse or deck that needs to come out
  • A tenancy is ending and the garden has to be handed back clear
  • Someone has fly-tipped over your back fence or into a side alley
  • A skip is not practical — no driveway, no permit, or the access is too tight
  • You need documentation showing the waste was disposed of legally

How it runs

Our clearance & waste process

Step by step, so you know exactly what happens and in what order.

  1. 01

Tell us roughly what is there

Volume is what we need: a few bags, a garden's worth, or a full shed-and-decking job. Photos are ideal. We would rather over-plan the vehicle than turn up too small.

  2. 02

    Fixed price, including disposal

The quote covers labour, loading, transport and tipping fees as one number. Disposal is not added afterwards, which is the usual sting on waste jobs.

  3. 03

We load it — all of it

You do not need to drag anything to the front. We carry from wherever it is, protecting floors and paths on the way through if there is no side access.

  4. 04

    Legal disposal and your paperwork

Waste goes to a licensed transfer station for separation and processing. Ask and we will send you the waste transfer note for your records.

What you get

Why it is worth doing properly

Completed garden clearance & waste removal project
  • No skip, no permit, no waiting

A skip needs space, often a council permit on a public road, and sits there for days. We turn up, load, and go — usually inside a single visit.

  • The duty of care is properly met

Using a licensed carrier and keeping the transfer note is what protects you if waste is later found dumped. It is the part of the job nobody thinks about until it matters.

  • Heavy and awkward is our problem

Rubble, wet soil, railway sleepers, a shed with a felt roof — we bring the kit and the bodies to shift it rather than asking you to help.

  • Compliant for lettings and commercial sites

Documentation, invoicing and clear before-and-after photos make end-of-tenancy and managed-property clearances straightforward to sign off.

Pricing

What affects the price

We quote per job rather than per hour, so the number cannot creep. These are the things that move it up or down.

The fastest route to a price: send two or three photos on WhatsApp. We can usually quote from photos the same day, with no site visit needed.

  • 01Total volume of waste, measured in vehicle loads
  • 02Type of waste — soil and rubble weigh far more than green waste and cost more to tip
  • 03Whether structures need dismantling before they can be moved
  • 04Carry distance from the waste to where we can park
  • 05Whether the material is mixed, which affects how it has to be processed

Questions

Clearance & Waste questions

The things people ask us most about this particular job.

For pricing, booking, waste and legal questions that apply to every job, see our full FAQ page.

Yes. On almost every job the waste leaves with us as we finish. On very large clearances we may make more than one run, but the garden is never left with a pile in it overnight without telling you first.

Yes — just ask and we will send you the waste transfer note. Landlords, letting agents and commercial customers usually want this on file, and we are happy to provide it as standard.

Usually yes. Household items, old furniture and general junk are normally fine to add. There are a few categories we cannot take, including asbestos, paint, chemicals, tyres, fridges and gas bottles — tell us if any of those are present and we will point you to the right route.

Very often, once you account for the permit, the hire period and the fact that you still have to load a skip yourself. It is also faster, and there is no skip sitting outside your house for a week.
